“Adriana Leon, born October 2, 1992 in Mississauga, Ontario, is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as an attacker. She plays for West Ham as well as for Canada’s women’s soccer team.
Adriana Leon was born in Mississauga but grew up in Maple, an area of Vaughan, Ontario, and King City, Ontario, two communities north of Toronto. In 2009, at age 17, she joined the national training program. She is part of the Canadian team at the 2010 Under 20 CONCACAF Championships, and competes at the Under 20 World Cup in Japan in 2012.
On January 12, 2013, at age 20, she made her debut with the National Women’s Team in a friendly tournament against China; it marks the only goal of this match. She is selected for the 2015 World Cup, where she participates in four games, including one as holder.
On January 12, 2019, she joined West Ham.”
